Coronavirus may still be here but we are taking advantage of the digital world and have put together some events from organisations across the city for our virtual Ageing Well Festival. Most events will be on the 1st October but there are a few others during the week.

MUSIC AND WELLBEING
2pm – 3pm
A short session about how music affects mood and how you can use music playlists to aid memory, recollection and reminiscence. Emily, lifestyles lead & Saskia, lifestyles assistant are at the start of their journey learning about the benefits of using music with residents living with dementia. In this interactive virtual session, they will share with you a few top tips about creating meaningful musical, playlists for yourself and for your loved ones. You will need A4 paper and a dark, thick marker pen or felt tip. You will also receive info about free resources you can use to start putting together a playlist for yourself or others.
